Talking Butt-Heads

I don't know about y'all, but I for one am tired of Leftist activists ignoring reality, distorting facts, twisting truth, & telling lies. But, it is impossible to follow the political news and not get sideswiped by them as you go along trying to learn what is happening in our world.

Sometimes it is almost painful to listen to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, head of the DNC, and not just because he voice is like nails on a chalkboard. It is because she apparently is completely unable to acknowledge the real world where in the rest of us live. She is so lost in her little cocoon of liberalism that fact AND fiction have become whatever best meets the party line. It is almost entertaining to watch less biased news persons try to gently correct her inane spoutings, without them actually calling her a liar or idiot. It is much less entertaining to see more liberal media personas just go right along with her on the yellow brick road to nowhere that the DNC is trying to build as Obama's new path to re-election.

I love to watch several shows on Fox News. One of my new favorites is "The Five." they generally have five co-hosts and no guests. The co-hosts aren't always the same, but generally consist of three pretty staunch Conservatives, one semi-conservative Libertarian/Independent, and one Liberal. It never ceases to amaze me how the Liberal, no matter which co-host it is, will try to run rough-shod over not only the other four co-hosts, but also stomp into the ground any facts that don't fit the current Democratic mantra. Of course, the same thing occurs on the other Fox News shows I watch. Reality checks just don't seem to hinder Progressives in the march towards their apparent goal of civil domination.

I guess it all really comes down to their mantra. The higher-ups seem to write the narrative and it gets passed down the line, pert near word for word, until it is endlessly heard from the mouths of politicians, media persons, show biz personalities, talking heads, protestors, and voters. And, don't even try to point out any inaccuracies or falsehoods in the liberal litany, 'cause they just repeat it over again and louder. Kind of reminds me of singing "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" as a teenager. There really is no discussing with Liberals. No give-n-take. There is just them spouting off and you being expected to listen then accept everything they say as gospel.

Jay Carney, White House Press Spokesman, is right at the top of my list of Democrats I really hate to hear from. First of all, it is a toss-up as to which he is more inept at, public speaking or telling lies. Or, perhaps it is just that so much of his public speaking IS telling lies. Either way, he just seems so uncomfortable all the time that it is uncomfortable to watch and listen to him. Throw in the likelihood that at some point he is going to be rude to someone and it is a recipe for disgust for me. He isn't even pleasant and jovial about it, like the last bumbling fool they had in the job: Robert Gibbs. At least he seemed somewhat likeable, although just as irrelevant and untruthful.

I guess for me that kind of sums up how I feel about most of what I hear from the Left: irrelevant and untruthful. The only relevance and truth seems to be that they are pretty much out to destroy our way of life. By hook or by crook they seem bent on tearing down America as we know it. For this reason, I listen to them, hoping that I can somehow use their own words to convince others just how dangerous they are.
