Denver Post Lies about Romney Rally Attendance

I was at the Romney Rally last night in Denver. It was enormous and fever pitched. I was one of the first to enter, and for 3 hours, 45 minutes, I sat beside the entry walkway, watching the steady stream of supporters coming into the huge area. It never slowed and the line never shortened unitl 45 minutes after the event was schedule to start. When the field was filled, several of us who were overlooking the area were trying to estimate the size of the crowd. We finally decided a conservative estimate was 25,000 plus. One of those people predicted, "Tomorrow's Denver Post will report Romney Turnout Low!" Sure enough, today's Denver Post reported "estimated attendance of 7,000." Just how ignorant do these writers at the Denver Post think we are? That is false journalism of the worst sort. By the same token, they are upping the numbers of the Obama Biden event attendances in an effort to create enthusiasm "where it ain't."

At last night's event, I noticed the line backed up from the line of Porta Potties. I said, "I'm pretty sure the number of people lined up to go to the latrine is greater than the people who are going to Joe Biden events."

Come'on, Denver Post. Make your daily rag at least look reasonably intelligent. We know you are liberal, but you don't need to go to such extremes in your lies.
